The Brassler UM500LGT electric high-speed rotary instrument kit features the latest innovations packaged in a rugged desktop console with inclined control panel. New to the market, it features digital RPM display and a brushless motor hand piece. he well laid out console consists of Forward/Reverse selector switch, power switch, ower amp, reset lamp, and digital RPM indication. Hand piece is lightweight, easily manipulated and is super quiet. The speed can be set by hand or with the foot pedal provided. Special circuitry guarantees constant RPM as a load is applied, insuring maximum efficiency of the bur or cutter being used. The 3/32 (2.35mm) quick-change collett-chuck requires no tools and changes take seconds. Standard Max speed is 40,000 RPM. By pressing the speed limit Release Button and turning speed control knob the unit will go to a vibration free 50,000 RPM. Use of 40,000 RPM or higher is recommended only when the bur manufacturer specifies the bur's acceptable rotation speed to be over 40,000 RPM.Extensive research in cutter performance dictates the importance of knowing what speed your bur or cutter is turning at to insure efficiency and SAFETY of the operation.
